The President, along with Cabinet Ministers, senior Government officials, and President’s Office staff, gathered in the grass field south of the President’s Office, the site of the former Huravee Building, to observe the minute of silence at 9:23 am—the recorded time the tsunami hit the Maldives in 2004. Several Government employees in Malé City also participated in the minute of silence near their workplaces.Read more at presidency.gov.mv
