Maldives reaffirms renewable energy targets at IRENA

Minister of Climate Change Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim reaffirmed Maldives' pledge of generating 33 percent of energy needs from renewable sources. At the 15th International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), he said the Maldives has boosted the capacity from 53MW to 70MW in just over a year and is working on an additional 170MW
